Situation:
Increase customer engagement in Liberty's Inventory Services program
Task:
The application is built in Oracle APEX which uses page templates with limited styling capability?
Action:
Customize the template theme to match the chosen design, add new features and tie into the Liberty web site to provide full product detail, ecommerce and order tracking access.
Result:
Liberty Inventory Services is a program that allows participants to stock product in their warehouses and only pay for it when they use it. The application itself had a solid concept and foundation, it was just the interface that needed updating.
I modified the base template HTML to match the desired design. I added much-needed navigation enhancements
I added multiple reports to allow easy visibility into project costing and component usage. I helped incorporate scanning capabilities to allow scanning of barcoded product labels to eliminate having to type in part numbers.
I replaced the older ordering system by tying into Liberty's e-commerce site. This allows full access to product specs, inventory, pricing, ordering and order status.
The overhauled interface was a great improvement and helped grow signups for the program as well as sales.
